Lawyer-investigator and accredited mediator
Ms. Dupuis holds a bachelor's degree in law and international studies, as well as a master's degree in political science from the Université de Montréal. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2012.
With many years' experience in political, legal and academic circles, Ms. Dupuis has a keen interest and expertise in dispute prevention and resolution, strategic consulting and risk management. After being selected from a small group of Canadian students in 2005 to participate in the prestigious Parliamentary Internship Program in Ottawa, she was recruited early in her career as a political attaché for the Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and promoted a year later as Regional Director to support the Minister responsible for Greater Montreal. After a few years in politics, she returned to school and began a career in law with a major international law firm, first as an articling student and then as deputy head of legal affairs. In this capacity, she contributed to the implementation of a wide variety of complex projects relating to lawyers' professional liability, compliance and risk management. Ms. Dupuis then reoriented her career towards the school environment, where she piloted the implementation of a new complaints handling system within a school service center, and assisted staff and management in managing this major organizational change.
Fluently bilingual and dynamic, Ms. Dupuis has a great ability to communicate and popularize information effectively while listening to her clients' needs. Throughout her career, she has led training sessions for employees, managers and associates.
At PRDSA,Ms. Dupuis mediates, investigates and conducts neutral assessments of psychological harassment and problematic workplace situations for public and private organizations. She also acts as a trainer, notably to develop the skills of respondents, managers and employees in dealing with psychological harassment, incivility and conflict in the workplace.
