Physician and Certified Mediator
Dr. Louis Prévost is a physician and certified mediator. In 1990, he started a practise in family medicine, primarily in emergency rooms and hospitalizations. He then held several managerial positions in the healthcare network, including department head and assistant director (then director) of professional services. He dedicated the next 16 years of his professional life to the Collège des médecins du Québec as an assistant syndic.
He holds a graduate degree in alternative dispute resolution from the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke and has been a certified mediator since 2020. A member of IMAQ and its broader Canadian counterpart ADRIC, Dr. Prévost works with various professional orders and public sector organizations primarily as an investigator, mediator trainer and consultant.
