Biography

Stéphanie Pointier acts as an investigator, certified mediator and arbitrator with PRDSA. She holds a Master’s in European Law and a Master’s in International Law from the Université de Lille in France. During her studies, she was an exchange student for a year at the Université catholique Péter Pázmány in Budapest, Hungary. She was a lecturer in European law for two years in France, and then worked for two years in Brussels as a contentious case legal advisor to international organizations, the International Civil Aviation Organization (Eurocontrol) and the European Commission. She spent a few months in Cameroon before moving to Canada to work as a lawyer for a private firm.

A member of the Québec Bar since 2016, Mrs. Pointier practised civil and commercial litigation and labour law for two years before joining PRDSA in early 2018. Now, she is focused on alternative dispute resolution methods.

At PRDSA, MPointier is involved in mediations and conducts investigations and neutral evaluations of psychological harassment cases and problematic workplace situations for public and private organizations. She also serves as a trainer, mainly in developing skills in handling psychological harassment, bullying and workplace conflict for senior managers and employees.
